A 69ª edição do Emmy Awards aconteceu no último domingo, nos EUA.
Pouco conhecida entre os brasileiros, The Handmaid’s Tale, uma série do canal on-line Hulu, desbancou a Netflix e conquistou o prêmio na categoria melhor série dramática, melhor atriz e melhor atriz coadjuvante.
Já Big Little Lies, minissérie da HBO, foi eleita a melhor no quesito e também deu a estatueta a Nicole Kidman e a Alexander Skarsgård.
