Na noite do domingo (22), os telespectadores conheceram os grandes vencedores da televisão americana no Emmy Awards. A 65ª edição do evento, realizada em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos, foi apresentada por Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), que teve a sua apresentação interrompida pelos antigos anfitriões do evento (confira o vídeo abaixo).
Os seis melhores figurinos da televisão
Os resultados foram surpreendentes e alguns contrariaram as apostas feitas pela mídia americana. Os seriados Modern Family (pela quarta vez) e Breaking Bad foram os destaques da noite. Os atores Jeff Daniels (considerado o grande azarão da noite), Claire Danes, Jim Parsons e Julia Louis-Dreyfus também tiveram suas atuações reconhecidas pelo prêmio.

A cerimônia contou com os shows de Elton John e Carrie Underwood. Além disso, Jane Lynch realizou uma homenagem ao ator Cory Monteith, que faleceu em julho deste ano por uso de drogas. “É impressionante como o elenco virou uma família rapidamente. E esse ano, em Glee, perdemos o Cory. Desde a primeira vez que o vi, me apaixonei. Saibam que todo o carinho, charme e transparência que você viam nele eram verdadeiros”, afirmou a intérprete de Sue Sylvester em Glee.
O ator James Gandolfini, que protagonizou Família Soprano (1997-2009), também foi relembrado por sua parceira de atuação no série, Edie Falco. Ele morreu no começo do ano, vítima de um ataque cardíaco.
