Na noite deste domingo (20), os ganhadores do Emmy Awards 2015 foram revelados em cerimônia nos EUA.

A 67ª edição da premiação teve como anfitrião o ator Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), que conseguiu cativar o público com piadas ácidas, inclusive, em referência à candidatura de Donald Trump para a presidência do país.

Transparent foi a grande ganhadora da noite, com três prêmios: melhor ator para Jeffrey Tambor, melhor direção e melhor participação de ator convidado em série de TV. A minissérie Olive Kitteridge também foi contemplada com prêmios importantes em sua categoria, entre eles, melhor série limitada, ator e coadjuvante.

Outro destaque foi a escolha de Jon Hamm para o prêmio de melhor ator por Mad Men e de Viola Davis na mesma categoria, marcando a história como a primeira mulher negra a ganhar a estatueta.

“A única coisa que separa as mulheres de cor de qualquer outra é a oportunidade. Você não pode ganhar por papéis que simplesmente não existem”, disse em discurso.
