Aconteceu na última segunda-feira (15) a 75ª edição do Emmy Awards, a prestigiada premiação da Academia de Televisão. Um evento que, após ser adiado por quatro meses devido à greve dos roteiristas e atores em 2023, finalmente tomou os holofotes.
Na categoria de drama, a HBO Max destacou-se, conquistando quatro das oito nomeações para Melhor Série de Drama: The White Lotus, A Casa do Dragão, The Last of Us e Succession. A última, em particular, liderou o placar com impressionantes 27 indicações, solidificando sua posição como referência na indústria.
Na comédia, Ted Lasso acumulou um total de 21 nomeações. A série do Apple TV+, que lançou sua terceira temporada em 2023, demonstrou seu poder de permanência e capacidade de encantar a audiência.
O evento também prestou homenagem a algumas figuras notáveis da indústria que nos deixaram em 2023. Entre elas, destaca-se Matthew Perry, que emocionou a audiência ao surgir no telão ao som de I’ll Be There for You, a icônica música de abertura de Friends.
