O Emmy 2024, a maior premiação da televisão americana, aconteceu neste domingo (15) em Los Angeles e consagrou as séries Xógum: A Gloriosa Saga do Japão, Hacks e Bebê Rena como os grandes vencedores da noite. Com performances impressionantes, essas produções dominaram a cerimônia e deixaram sua marca no evento.
Hacks surpreende como melhor série de comédia
A grande surpresa da noite foi a vitória de Hacks, que levou o prêmio de Melhor Série de Comédia. A série, que aborda o relacionamento entre uma lendária comediante e sua jovem roteirista, desbancou favoritos como O Urso, que era cotada para vencer. Além do prêmio principal, Hacks conquistou mais dois troféus, somando um total de três prêmios.
Xógum e Bebê Rena confirmam favoritismo
Nas categorias dramáticas e limitadas, o favoritismo foi confirmado. Xógum: A Gloriosa Saga do Japão, que retrata a ascensão de um samurai ao poder no Japão feudal, venceu em quatro categorias. A série, que encantou público e crítica com sua produção épica e narrativa histórica, reafirmou seu sucesso. A produção levou também o prêmio de Melhor Atriz e Melhor Ator de drama, um feito histórico na categoria para intérpretes de ascendência asiática.
Da mesma forma, a animação Bebê Rena também conquistou quatro prêmios, entre eles de Melhor Série Limitada, consolidando sua posição como uma das favoritas do público.
